Challenge Timeline

Fill out the registration form to register for the F3 Krill Replacement Challenge. Next, send a small sample of your Krill Replacement product to F3 to confirm it does not contain marine animal ingredients.

All Entrants must fill out the registration form before this deadline.

The deadline to register for the Challenge is August 31, 2023 at 11:59 PM PDT and the deadline to submit samples is September 30, 2023 at 5:00 PM PDT.

Qualified entrants can begin to submit entry materials to the F3 Team as described in the Official Rules.

All entry materials must be received before this date.

Challenge Trial 2 has begun! F3 Krill Replacements will compete in a second feeding trial for Atlantic salmon.

That's a wrap for the F3 Krill Replacement Challenge! F3 Scientific Advisory Committee and Judges will review the data from both trials to determine a winner.

The F3 Krill Replacement Challenge winner will be announced at an industry conference in October or soon after.
